Joshua D. Estrada-Romero is the founder and artistic director of FUSE Dance Company based in Orange, CA, whose mission is to support and foster the growth and development of the performing arts in Southern California through performances, dance education, and dance community collaboration programs. FUSE has participated in many Southern California Dance Festivals including ReBorn Dance Arts Festival, Nickerson-Rossi Dance Company’s International Dance Festival, SoCal Dance Invitational, Orange County Dance Festival, Inland Empire Dance Festival, Santa Barbaras’s HHII Dance Festival, Los Angeles Dance Festival, CA Dance Education Association’s “CA Dance”, BlakTinX Dance Festival, and SoCal Choreographer and Dance Festival. His company work has also had the privilege of being showcased in Boston MA for the Boston Contemporary Dance Festival, Ballet Austin’s Venture Theatre in Austin TX, Solo/Duo Festival and Dumbo Dance Festival in New York NY, Men In Dance Festival in Seattle WA, Body Logic’s Dance festival in Salt Lake City UT, and Ketchikan Theatre Ballet’s Shift from Neutral in Ketchikan, AK.

Joshua has held master classes and workshops at Ketchikan Theatre Ballet in Alaska, Round Rock Repertory in Austin TX, Cypress College, San Pedro Ballet, Long Beach City Ballet, Pomona College, Fullerton Unified High School, Anaheim High School, and many other high schools across L.A., Orange County and the Inland Empire.

Joshua received a full BIPOC Scholarship through CorePower Yoga in 2020 and currently holds his 200 Hour Yoga Teaching Certificate along with his certificate in Yoga Sculpt. He is also a certified Nutritional Coach through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. He is an Orange County based photographer focusing on capturing dance, movement and sports. Currently, Joshua shares his passion as an instructor/choreographer to all dance students of California State University Fullerton, Mt. San Antonio College and Santa Ana College.

Erik Jaimes, a 22-year-old dancer and choreographer from San Diego, has dedicated nearly a decade to his craft. Inspired to dance in his teens, he began exploring choreography in college. While earning his Bachelor of Arts in Dance at CSU Fullerton, he refined his skills under esteemed professors and worked with artists like Brad Beakes, Jamila Glass, Yoshito Sakuraba, and Sadie Weinberg. After graduating, Erik joined FUSE Dance Company, directed by Joshua Estrada-Romero. The support from those around him inspired Erik to push the boundaries of dance. Notable highlights include performing "Lavanertia" choreographed hy Sophia Bernardo & Leila Massoudi at the 2023 DUMBO Dance Festival and his piece "Temiqui" receiving Gala recognition at the 2024 ACDA Baja Conference.

Jet Dagdag is a freelance dancer based in Southern California. He graduated from UC Irvine with a BFA in Dance Performance and received an Excellence in Dance Performance award. His professional dance background includes: Anaheim Ballet, Southern California Dance Theatre, Festival Ballet Theatre, Re:borN Dance Interactive, Fuse Dance Company, Multiplex Dance, and Shaun Boyle & Artists.

Born and raised in Southern California, Joshua D. Estrada-Romero began his dance training at California State University, Fullerton. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Dance in fall of 2008 and his MFA in Dance from the University of California Irvine in 2017. His focus is on creating a cross-training movement system that combines many forms of sport training with contemporary dance that creates a language that speaks to multiple audiences.

His extensive experience in dance, music, and art evolved through his dance memberships and training with Palindrome Dance Company, RhetOracle Dance Company, BARE Dance Company, Nickerson- Rossi Dance, and Kelly Alvarez & Artists. Joshua also worked with very well-known artists of the Limón Dance Company and Erick Hawkins Dance Company, and choreographer Victor Kabaniev. He continues to perform with Tustin Dance Center in their annual Holiday Nutcracker performances as Snow King, Spanish Lead, and Arabian Lead.

Phillip Lu (he/him), a native of Los Angeles, began his formal dance training at the age of 18 while pursuing his undergraduate degree at the University of California, Irvine (UCI). At UCI, he had the privilege of studying under renowned choreographers and professors, including the legendary Donald McKayle, and was a member of McKayle’s esteemed UCI Etude Ensemble and a soloist for “Rainbow Round My Shoulder” (1959). Phillip earned his B.A. in Psychology and Social Behavior and later completed a Master’s degree in Social Work.

Since 2011, Phillip has been a core member of FUSE Dance Company. He is also a dancer and choreographer to numerous projects throughout Los Angeles. His work spans a variety of platforms, from music videos to stage performances. Alongside his artistic career, Phillip is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, actively practicing in Los Angeles County, where he blends his passion for dance and mental health to enrich his community.”

Robert Huerta (he/they) began his training at East Los Angeles College where he performed numerous works under the college’s dance company, The Let’s Dance Company. He is a graduate of Cal State University, Long Beach (CSULB) where he received his BA in Dance Science and his BFA in Dance. During his time at Long Beach, he danced for artists such as Marjani Forté, Rebecca Lemme, Issa Hourani and Brenna Monroe-Cook with whom he performed a restaged work by Jose Limon, Crucifixus

During his time in CSULB, he was mentored by the Costume Shop Manager, Kelsey Vidic, in costuming for dance which gave him the opportunity to work with artist such as Roderick George for Los Angeles Contemporary Dance Company, Justin Morris, and CSULB’s Dance Department.

Robert is a current member of Donna Sterberg and Dancers, a collaborative company based in Los Angeles. He does freelance gigs with various artists across L.A. while continuing to work in costume and sound design for dance.
