Marlo Martin (she/her) is a director, choreographer, educator and producer in Seattle, WA. She holds a BFA in dance from Western Michigan University. In 2022, Marlo was honored to receive the WMU Department of Fine Arts Distinguished Alumni award for Arts Education. Marlo finds fulfillment and joy in celebrating and practicing all that encompasses and defines dance. Martin founded and directs eXit SPACE, a center for dance education and performance. She is the Artistic Director of badmarmarDANCE, a collective of storytellers, performers, and magicians of movement. As a producer, Marlo curates BOOST dance festival, takePAUSE, BOOSTmeUP, and PROPEL AIR. As an educator Marlo spends most of her time at eXit SPACE teaching weekly technique classes and directing the pre-professional division. She has enjoyed being a guest faculty at Cornish College, WMU, Western Washington University, and a variety of WA state studios and conservatories. Marlo is genuinely interested in sharing her vision and ideas through teaching and creating dance, by developing forums for the exploration and presentation of dance works, and by supporting and nurturing fellow dancers, artists, and directors.

Omar Ramirez (he/him) began his dance training in Oregon at age 17. First developing a strong foundation at his local dance studio then continuing his collegiate studies in Eugene, Oregon. He expanded his technique and artistry before moving to Seattle to pursue further training at Cornish College of the Arts. His journey reflects a deep dedication to growth, creativity, and expression through dance. He continues to explore new opportunities to share his passion for movement with audiences and collaborators alike.

Sean O’Bryan (he/him) started his training at the University of Washington, where he obtained a double degree in public health and dance. During this time, he received multiple student scholarships including the Evelyn H. Green Endowed Scholarship for Artistic Promise (UW) and the Bates Dance Festival Merit Scholarship. His dance training consists of strong movement vocabulary from Doug Varone & Dancers and choreographic inspiration from Crystal Pite. Throughout his dance career, Sean has performed in various festivals including the American Dance Guild Festival in NY, Men in Dance Festival in Seattle, Bates Dance Festival in Maine and Seattle International Dance Festival. Sean has also had the privilege of performing with multiple professional companies including Chamber Dance Company, Stephanie Liapis Dance, Molly Scott in the Solo(s) Project, Khambatta Dance Company, joBdance., Salk works, El Sueño Dance, and badmarmarDANCE (current). It was with these companies that he performed renowned repertory works by Shapiro & Smith, Doug Varone & Dancers, Zvi Gothiener, Doris Humphrey, and Joe Goode. Sean has also traveled internationally to France to perform in a site-specific work for Jennifer Salk at the Tadao Ando Art Centre at Chateau La Coste. 

Outside of dance, Sean works in a biopharmaceutical company that develops next generation drugs to improve the quality of life of patients globally. Currently, you can find Sean performing in original new works from barmarmarDANCE (Marlo Martin, Artistic Director) and teaching modern, contemporary, and partnering techniques as Guest Faculty for eXit SPACE in the Seattle dance community. Sean is also involved in an interactive dance media art project called Anfractuous (concept and direction by Jennifer Salk & Martin Jarmick), which recently premiered in Brisbane, Australia and Seattle, WA.
