Julius Flores has been making moves and making waves in Seattle since 2015. As a passionate member of the Seattle performing arts community, he relishes the creative opportunities he has had with local agencies and artists. Originally from the state of Hawai’i, his specialty is in the contemporary dance genre. However, he is no stranger to all walks of dance and movement. His main occupation has been to develop young people as confident and skillful dancers. From his tenure, he has a seasoned eye to render dynamic choreography with his fellow dancers. His current focus and project is on his upstart dance company, the Artistry in Motion Collective. And as a Filipino gay man, his hope is to contribute to the effort of enhancing representation of BIPOC artists in the US. Most recently, his work has been featured in productions such as BOOST (eXit SPACE School of Dance) and TNT Dance Explosion.
